Precision from altitude

La Rous is the purest expression of our high-altitude vineyard. Made entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon planted on a rocky plain with Quaternary origins, ripened slowly and exposed to significant temperature variations and a climate that makes every harvest unique.
The 2023 vintage was one of the most atypical, with unusual rains and an extreme summer that required precise handling of the vines. The result is a wine with a vibrant freshness, with notes of currants, red plums and a subtle touch of spices.
Its refinement in the barrel provides texture and complexity, without losing precision. On the palate it is dynamic, with a tense acidity and a long, elegant finish. A gastronomic wine, with character and authenticity, that reflects the singularity of its origin.
