La Rous is the purest expression of our high-altitude vineyard. Made entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon planted on a rocky plain with Quaternary origins, ripened slowly and exposed to significant temperature variations and a climate that makes every harvest unique.
The 2023 vintage was one of the most atypical, with unusual rains and an extreme summer that required precise handling of the vines. The result is a wine with a vibrant freshness, with notes of currants, red plums and a subtle touch of spices.
Its refinement in the barrel provides texture and complexity, without losing precision. On the palate it is dynamic, with a tense acidity and a long, elegant finish. A gastronomic wine, with character and authenticity, that reflects the singularity of its origin.

Strength and freshness from an extreme vineyard

Nacelcanto 2022 is the reflection of a pastureland vineyard at an altitude of between 659 and 705 metres, on “raña” soils, with rugged and clayey formations with a history dating back more than two million years.

At Dehesa El Molinillo, the vines face an extreme climate, with cold winters, intense summers and a thermal range that allows a slow and balanced ripening.

The 2022 vintage was the warmest in 25 years and took the vine to its limits, concentrating its essence in a wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Touriga Nacional.

Nacelcanto 2022 presents a bouquet of fruit black, olives and spices, combined with smokey bottom notes. On the palate it is ample and enveloping, with silky tannins. Refined in French oak barrels and terracotta amphorae, it reveals the perfect balance between strength and freshness.
